Lisa Bridges, BPE, DC

Dear Valued Patients,
After more than 30 wonderful years of practicing chiropractic care and serving this incredible community, it is with mixed emotions that I am writing to you to announce my retirement.

Over the past three years, I’ve experienced several personal losses that have reminded me just how short life can be, and how important it is to cherish each moment. With this realization, my husband and I have made the difficult decision to step away from our working lives so that we can embrace this next chapter of our life and enjoy more time together, while we are still physically able to do all the things we have dreamed about.

A great number of you have been with me since before I had my children. Reflecting on the past 31 years spent in practice, I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for the relationships, and in many cases friendships, that I have built with so many of you. I have been privileged to watch families expand: seen babies and grandchildren born, and watched many of your children grow from infants into adults with children of their own. I am blessed to have played even a small part in yours and their health and well-being along the way. I have seen firsthand the strength of our community, and I have witnessed many of your joyous milestones, as well as some very painful losses, that have shaped not only my career but also my personal life. The bond that I share with each of you has been deeply meaningful, and it has truly been an honor to be a part of your lives.

As much as I am looking forward to this new phase, I will miss my work—but more importantly, I will miss all of you. The relationships we’ve built and the trust you’ve placed in me has truly been special. It has been a rewarding and fulfilling journey, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have helped so many of you live healthier, more comfortable lives.

My last day in the office will be May 30th, 2025, but until then, I will continue to care for you as always. My team and I are committed to ensuring a smooth transition and that your chiropractic needs are met moving forward. Dr Kelly will remain in the office and is happy to take over your care. He does use a different technique than me however sometimes change can be good. If you are wanting to continue care with a similar practitioner both in personality and technique below are a few practitioners that I have the utmost confidence will take great care of you moving forward. Both Karla and Tiffany will be remaining in the office to continue providing you with their exceptional massage care.

Please be aware that when you see any new chiropractor it is a requirement by our regulatory body that they do an exam. This is important for them to establish your current health so they can provide you with the best care possible. There may be a slightly higher fee for your first visit with them.

Thank you for the trust, the relationships, and the shared experiences. It has been a true pleasure to serve you, and I am forever grateful for your support over the years. You have all made my career so much more meaningful, and I will carry the memories of this huge chapter of my life with me always.

With deepest gratitude and warmest wishes,
Dr Lisa

Chiropractor

Hi everyone. I graduated from Chiropractic College in 1997. In 2000 I moved back to Calgary to be closer to my other passion, mountain adventures. I am an avid downhill skier, year-round hiker and single track dirt bike rider. I come from a family of Chiropractors with my oldest brother and middle sister, both being Chiropractors. My Dad first took me to a Chiropractor when I was 10 yrs old with a hockey injury. It was a very positive experience. In over 27 years of serving the community, I have been fortunate to have helped infants within an hour of birth to seniors nearing 100. I also have been doing Animal Chiropractic for over 25 years. I absolutely love what I do and would like the opportunity to help you, your family and your pets.

We have helped newborns, expectant moms, athletes, seniors and animals live pain free, use less or no medications and achieve higher levels of health since 1996. We offer many forms of chiropractic care.Traditional adjusting techniques (Manual & Drop Table) as well as the effective and very gentle (NO NOISES!) Activator technique. With the addition of Laser, Arthrostim and Massage Therapy, we are at the cutting edge of Healthcare.
